STUDIES
Photography is tormented by the ghost of painting states Barthes. As a photographer, I think about my images in painterly ways, studying form, texture, composition, and light's shape. A part of making photographs is routine practice. My studies series takes everyday objects typically found in local super markets, or borrowed from friends, and elevating remaining them with feeling and a desire to look closer.
